Molded parts made of EPP or Styropor® (also known as Styrofoam) by Schlaadt solve an old dilemma: Despite their high strength and great cushioning ability, they have an extremely low density of 20–150 g/l.

This makes them the ideal construction materials for technical applications. Particle foam can be shaped in any manner, so the applications are unlimited.

For many of our customers, our functional parts made of particle foam are important installed parts in devices and housings – and they are used in every industry.

They provide sound absorption or assist with targeted cooling and air flow in housings. The automobile and logistics industries benefit from their capabilities as insulating or crash elements, while the low weight of the particle foam ensures a significant reduction in the transportation weight for many products.
